For over 17 years, the Arlington Foundation for Excellence in Education (AFEE) a 501(c)3 organization has provided educational opportunity in Arlington and surrounding communities with essential support to hundreds of youth who have the desire to pursue higher education but not the financial resources. Each year, we award more than $25,000 to support educational opportunities for scholars. Other areas of impact include life skills, leadership development, STEM programming and community service through signature programs.
In an effort to continue our works, we’ve created a new way for businesses to partner with our Foundation to impact more youth. The AFEE Business Ten Thousand initiative offers small businesses and companies the opportunity to provide educational scholarships to youth who otherwise would not be able to attend college. Our scholarship committee vets applicants ensuring each teen has exhibited leadership, academic excellence and service to their communities.
